A carefully selected library of YouTube videos to help you with all things DANCE!

YouTube is used extensively by the dance community nowadays. Teachers, students, choreographers and just fans of dance will wander down the seemingly endless rabbit hole of videos to learn new ways of doing things and be entertained in the comfort of - well, wherever they happen to be.

But, let's face it, it's not all quality content. Of particular worry to me is the trend of young kids making tutorial videos of dangerous dance tricks which shouldn't be attempted without proper progression training and supervision.

This is why I've created the Dance Geek Playlist Library. Intended as a 'one-stop-shop' for dance education on YouTube, you will find heaps of playlists categorising specific dancer search terms such as Dance Conditioning, Pirouettes and Pointe Work Tips.

Is it safe?

What will you find in the Playlist Library?

In a nutshell - LOTS!

I've been searching YouTube for dance knowledge since the early 2000's. And I love filing! (#GeekAlert!) I always created my own playlists so I could look back on videos later if I needed them. I'd share not only videos but entire playlists with my students and other teachers. Now with the wider reach and platform that Dance Geek gives me I can share almost 20 years of research with the whole dance community!
