Bio & Headshot

Born into a dance & theatre family Claire has been involved in the live entertainment industry her whole life. She has trained in various styles of dance including classical, contemporary, tap, jazz, commercial, hip hop, acrobatics and cheerleading.
Claire caught the directing and choreography bug as a teenager and went on to run a successful production company with her parents where she created and directed many works throughout Victoria. Notable career highlights include directing A Midsummer Nights Dream at the young age of 20, creating and directing the infamous political comedy Curly Girl Burlesque and creating entertainment for corporations
such Foxtel, the City of Melbourne and the Hume City Council. For 7 years she was the Principal of Haywood Academy of Performing Arts (HAPA) in Melbourne’s west where she trained many talented students who went on to work throughout the industry. As an avid learner, Claire enjoys studying and ‘collecting’ qualifications. To date she holds a Bachelor Creative Arts (hons.) from the University of Melbourne, with a double major in Theatre & Writing; Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management; Diploma of Event Management; AASCF Cheerleading & Tumbling Coaches qualifications (lvl 3). She hopes to add many more to the list! Claire has worked extensively throughout the country as a dance and vocal adjudicator and says that adjudicating is her passion, second only to being a Mum to her sons Indiana and Charlie.
